Where the work comes from
The same problem shows up across aviation, financial infrastructure and language models: an input that will not behave, and a system downstream that has to depend on it anyway.
Aviation notices arrive as abbreviated free text, amended in place, with no reliable grammar. Broker protocols change underneath you and expect a client to keep working through a reconnect. Language models return something different every time you ask. In each case the interesting engineering is not the happy path, it is the validation, the versioning and the behavior when the input is wrong.
